Fandom Engagement/ Fandom Friends
Feb. 28th, 2023 09:35 amJust a little vent while feeling nostalgiac for older fandom interactions!
Miss being able to go into something in progress with a big fanbase and go crazy with every update, squeeing and speculating! I've not been able to get very interested in the most popular ongoing things in awhile. I'd say that's growing up but that includes adult oriented programs, lol.
That and the difference in consuming media now. Can't get excited with everyone about what might happen in two episodes when all twelve have dropped at the same time
Hopefully I'll find something a little less niche or outdated to get into soon instead of staring down WIPs for fandoms that haven't been truly active for years OTL
